Goodbye to an old friend
I've made the decision...and there's no turning back.
I will soon be putting Mr. Eclipse, my long time pal, on sale for the highest bidder out there. It has taken me some time to think about the reason why I should and/or should not keep it in my possession.
I've owned the car since my high school senior year, and counting this summer it would be the 7th year I've owned him. When I laid my eyes on the Barcelona Red Pearl Metallic color for the first time, I fell in LOVE. First of all, the car looked so slick with the smooth body lines and the beautiful tan interior. The chrome OEM rims and the 5-speed gearbox were both desirable options on the car, but the thing that stood out the most was the way the turbocharger threw the passengers into the seat. I knew nothing about cars, but I knew I wanted this car.
The car is now up for grabs, and I've created a simple blog website for it at: http://98dsm.blogspot.com/
The best thing about this car right now is it comes with a fresh rebuilt tranny from TRE (2nd stage with Quaife Differential). It makes the biggest difference in the whole entire world. The car is also currently equipped with brand new set of tires and is paired with an awesome set of 17x8 Enkei racing wheels.
It is sad to see it go, and I will always have the pictures for memories.
