Lonely Racer NO MORE

So, little did you guys know...

I've been dating this girl (from my blind date) for a month now, and it's been wonderful.

I think one thing I was a little worried about was how she was going to deal with a guy who likes racing more than anything. Would it turn out to be a typical "Do you love your car or me more" relationship or can I get her to like cars too? It's everyone man's dream to have a gf who is supportive of this type of stuff...how well would she react?

Well, to find out, I brought her to her first autocross event (and I was nervous). Throughout the day, we hung out together and I started feeding her little things here and there. I asked her which car she liked out of the whole lot that was there, and what was her favorite color. Overall the day went great, and winning a class trophy also helped (yay)!

So, the next weekend came, and I brought her to her second autocross event. How did that go? Well, it went really well actually. She loved watching the cars go zipping by, helping me with swapping tires, and hanging out with my car buddies. All signs are pointing positive.

Three events later, I'm getting the feeling that she doesn't mind being around all of this car stuff. That was a relief. *phew! Like I said, the situation cannot be better...

BTW, she's starting to take a liking to Mazda RX8's and loves it in the white color trim.
